Holy Cross Academy operates with the personal blessing of the Bishop of the Diocese of Syracuse.

Since 2004, the Catholic High School Honor Roll has named HCA a Top 50 Catholic High School in United States four times, and twice has awarded HCA Honorable Mention in the area of Civic Education.

The CHS Honor Roll is an independent project of the Acton Institute, an international research and education organization.  It is produced in consultation with an advisory board comprised of Catholic college presidents and scholars. 

The Honor Roll schools display sound academic, moral, catechetical and civic formation that prepares students for vocations in the world as political, religious, scientific and business leaders.
